Background:
J.P. Wammack has
been in the life insurance business for 28 years with
Northwestern Mutual. He has a Degree in history from UCLA. He
is a lifelong Civil War buff having read 100 books on the
subject. He enjoys exploring Civil War battlefields and has
been known to drive 1000 miles out of his way to do so.
In 2002 he began
Lincoln impersonations following a 15 year tradition set by his
father, H.M. Wammack. He has portrayed Lincoln more than 100
times at
schools, churches, service clubs, and special events.
To get into
character, J.P. likes to split firewood with a wedge and a
sledge hammer.
