Repertoire:

 

Offer a 45-minute adult presentation, complete with music of the period, which features a talk on Mr. Lincoln’s life and an interactive demonstration of frontier toys.  Talks are presented in Lincoln frock coat and hat outfit and may include an introduction by Whit outside of character.

Schedule:

Presentations are usually scheduled at 1-2 per month and limited to retirement centers, nursing homes, Civic, and Church groups in the Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky region. A children’s presentation is also available for young adults.  Whit does not present in schools, but can provide a referral for those interested.

Background:
Whit was born in Christian County, KY -- county of Jefferson Davis birth.  He has always been fascinated with Lincoln and visited his birthplace numerous times as a child, but only started presenting in July, 2003.  Background is in Information Systems, but he has participated in church drama.  He holds the Certified Novell Engineer 6.0 and Microsoft MCP technical certifications.  Other interests include computers, writing, music, camping, Geocaching, and SETI (Search for extra-terrestrial intelligence).  Whit is single and never married.

Website maintains a photo travel diary of appearances blended with light humor and historical editorials. Website also offers a rich library of Lincoln research links, Lincoln “link of the month”, scrolling news marquee, and “Kid’s place” for children. Whit also serves as the site’s webmaster.
