“Abraham Lincoln” visits schools, civic organizations and churches, and participates in community events and re-enactments. At schools, “Mr. Lincoln” presents age-appropriate, participatory assemblies. Students don’t just listen to Mr. Lincoln; they meet “the animal himself”.. For civic organizations and churches, “Mr. Lincoln” prepares appropriate remarks specific to each occasion. |

Background: A life-long amateur actor, Kevin had often been encouraged by audience-members to portray Mr. Lincoln, due to his astonishing resemblance, both in facial features and stature. In 2005, at the age of 51 (Abraham Lincoln was elected president at age 51), Kevin left a fifteen-year career as teacher and principal to devote his life to the portrayal of Abraham Lincoln. Since then, “Abraham Lincoln” has met thousands of Americans, young and old, some with mouths agape, replacing them with smiles. Young children are often convinced that they, indeed, have met Abraham Lincoln. |
